Modern Living Room Designs

Modern living room designs are evolved from the modern design movement. The modern design style has its heroic beginning in the 1920’s with the famous modern architects like Le Corbusier, Mies van de Rohe, Frank Llyod Wright, Alvar Aalto, Gerrit Rietveld, Marcel Breuer and Charles Eames. The modern living room designs are an extension of these early modern designs by these heroic pioneers. Modern design is typically called contemporary design style. This is typically the present day and current interior design style that is popular among most home dwellers. As the Modern Design style is the most common style currently, contemporary style is used in conjunction with the Modern Design style. The famous tag by Mies van de Rode “Less Is More” is the key concept to Minimalist design style, an extension of the basic modern style. The design elements used to design are set to be at a minimum. The appealing result is due to the neat, clean and simple feel about the design.
